Really pleased with this news – I’ve got family who live in next door Southall and I've helped out with campaigning in H&H. The incumbent MP is Labour’s John McDonnell (he of mace-wielding fame ) – given that he is a left-wing rebel against his own party for most of the time, this will be a great opportunity to present the voters in Hayes & Harlington with a genuine choice.
Now to work – a four-week campaign to organise and then the final itself!
